Cleaning — operating manuals
Commercial, vacation-rental, gym and residential cleaning: the method surface by surface, the chemicals and their safety data sheets, the routines, and the safety kit a crew must carry.
The manuals
Each premises type has its own manual: the surfaces differ, and so do the chemicals that are safe on them.
Operating manual for an Okanagan (BC) janitorial operator: the crews' own method (soap and water on walls, vinegar + soap on glass, Murphy Oil Soap on wood) checked against labels and Health Canada;
Cleaning gyms and fitness centres in BC (Okanagan): cloth-first wiping of equipment with maker-approved disinfectants at label contact time, neutral pH (7-9) rubber-floor care, locker-room and shower disinfection…
House cleaning in the Okanagan (BC): where the operator's soap/vinegar/Murphy baseline fails in a home (vinegar etches marble; oil soap barred on laminate and prefinished hardwood;
Short-term rental turnovers in BC's Okanagan: strip and launder first, clean top-down, disinfect toilets and high-touch surfaces with a Health Canada DIN product at label dilution and contact time, restock, photograph,…
